“Talent Rider Contest” is the first contest that gives you the chance to make it as a pro motorcycle racer
Have you ever dreamed about riding a motorcycle like a pro? Well, this season you can give it a try thanks to the Talent Rider Contest!
The Talent Rider Contest will take place as an itinerant casting over 8 rounds throughout Italy in search of the most talented and determined among young riders between the ages of 14 and 25. The Talent Rider Contest can make your dream come true, since the final prize will be the incredible opportunity to participate in a race of the Yamaha R3 Cup 2021 with a motorcycle of the Roc’N’Dea Team.
Caberg decided to join this project as well by providing the two contest finalists with a DRIFT EVO helmet each and an additional helmet for the winner who’ll participate in the race of the Yamaha R3 Cup.
HOW, WHEN, AND WHERE
The Talent Contest will start on March 6, 2021 and will end on August 1st. Joining is very simple: after having paid the registration fee, the time of the casting session will be communicated to the participants. Each rider will have the opportunity to show his talent in front of a jury composed by the 6-time Italian Champion & Caberg rider Massimo Roccoli and by the ex motogp rider Alex De Angelis. The selection process will start with a personal interview and then with a test with the Moto Trainer Motorbike Simulator.
The jury will evaluate participants’ performance according to the following 3 criteria:
1. Simulator score
2. Riding style
3. Riding attitude
The best 2 riders, selected in each casting session, will then compete on May 2, 2021 at Rossocorsa or close to the Misano circuit. After the semifinal, the 2 finalists will compete on the racetrack on May 10, and on that occasion, they will receive the complete necessary garment and gear including a Caberg DRIFT EVO helmet.
Caberg is very pleased to support and take part in the Talent Rider Contest with the DRIFT EVO helmet that is the result of the experience gained by the company’s racing department and the riders who have been using the helmet in many championships.
