The Fondazione Francesca Rava – N.P.H. Italia Onlus helps children in serious need in Italy and worldwide, and represents N.P.H. – Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (Our little brothers and sisters) in Italy. With this charity gift for Christmas, we want to continue to support the children that were affected by the earthquake in 2016 in Central Italy.
The Fondazione Francesca Rava – N.P.H. Italia Onlus helps children in serious need in Italy and worldwide, and represents N.P.H. – Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (Our little brothers and sisters) in Italy. NPH is an international charitable organization for orphaned and abandoned children founded in 1954 by Father William Watson and now operating in 9 countries in Latin America.
The Pequeños are welcomed in the NPH larger family, receiving food, medical treatment, love, formal and professional education in order to break the cycle of poverty. Haiti is one of the least developed countries in the world and the Fondazione Francesca Rava – N.P.H. Italia Onlus supports funds all N.P.H. projects as well as specific projects, including: 3 hospitals and 2 centers for children with special needs, 3 orphanages, 30 schools, a professional training center – Francisville-, programmes for food distribution and reconstruction after the 2016 flooding. All these activities are carried out under the guidance of Fr Richard Frechette, a priest and doctor on the front line, who has worked in Haiti for 26 years as the head of N.P.H.
With this charity gift for Christmas, we want to continue to support the children that were affected by the earthquake in 2016 in Central Italy.
In 9 months Fondazione Francesca Rava N.P.H. Italia Onlus, delivered 6 schools: 1 in Arquata del Tronto, 3 in Norcia and 2 in Cascia . T he Civil Protection and the Special Commissioner for the Earthquake Reconstruction 2016 asked us to help building 2 more schools : we are now raising funds to build 2 new nursery schools, in the Regions of Umbria and Marche, in collaboration with the local institutions .
The schools will be donated to the local communities.
