HOW TO INSTALL AN ANTI-FOG INSERT LENS

Although Pinlock and Fog City Go lenses are very popular, there are still many motorcyclists who do not use them because they fear to damage the visor when installing. No worries, today we’ll explain step by step how to install the insert properly and very easily just by following our instructions and the tutorial video! We remind you that all anti-fog lenses offered by Caberg come with the installation instruction in the package.

First of all, it is necessary to take the visor off the helmet according to the instruction manual. As next simple step, we suggest you to clean the internal part of the visor with water and mild soap and dry it using a non-abrasive cloth in order to avoid the chances of scratching the surface of your visor. Both ends of the visor have a pin, this is where the Pinlock or Fog City Go lens needs to be fitted.

The anti-fog lens on one side has the silicon edge that will be placed against the internal side of the helmet visor while on the other one there is a removable yellow protective film. At this stage, slightly and gently bend the visor flat and then fit in the Pinlock or Fog City Go lens.

Check if it is pressing against the visor everywhere and it’s done!

In case the insert is not tightly pressed up against the helmet visor or either is too short or too loose, you can easily turn the eccentric pins to adjust the distance between them. After this step, it is possible to remove the yellow protective film from the lens and then re-install the visor onto your helmet.
