TANAMI full-face helmet: two helmets, one white and one carbon, placed on a low wall

The new TANAMI full face on-off road was recently reviewed by Moto.it following a ride through the scenic roads around Lake Garda.

Designed for riders who don’t want to choose between road and off-road, the new TANAMI full face helmet was tested by Nicola Andreetto and Mattia Carpi on two very different bikes: a Tiger 900 GT Pro with a crossover setup and a more enduro-oriented Ténéré 700.

The result? A comprehensive test — on both tarmac and dirt roads — that revealed the full potential of Caberg’s new adventure helmet.

A truly versatile on-off road full face helmet

Moto.it review confirms that TANAMI (available with a fiberglass or full carbon shell and certified to the latest ECE 22.06 standard) lives up to its promise of adaptability. Thanks to a clever and intuitive quick-release system, switching from road to off-road configuration is easy and tool-free.

Both the peak and the main visor can be detached in minutes, and all deflectors can be removed by hand thanks to magnetic fasteners—an ideal solution to improve airflow or quickly adapt the helmet to changing riding conditions.

Key features highlighted by Nicola and Mattia include:

  • Excellent balance, even at high speeds;
  • Good noise insulation, even with open air vents;
  • Wide field of vision;
  • Effective ventilation, tested on a day with temperatures exceeding 30° C.

Aesthetics and innovation, designed for real riders

TANAMI also stands out in terms of looks — especially in the Carbon version with aerodynamic spoiler and fluorescent yellow details. It’s a modern, clean, and functional design for riders who want a helmet that combines strong aesthetics with substance.

Among the most innovative features is the SOS Medical ID system with integrated NFC chip, allowing first responders to access emergency medical info simply by placing a smartphone near the helmet.

Another smart addition is the hydration tube port, perfect for long-distance or adventure riders tackling demanding routes.
