Caberg is proud to be part of the incredible journey in honour of Simon Caddy

Caberg is proud to participate in the trip in honor of Simon Caddy, providing the 5 travelers with Tourmax Marathon helmets.

PC Simon Caddy was a Police Class 1 Traffic Officer and he was tragically killed on the 26th May 2017. Simon, with his father Adrian and brother Alex, was planning a bike tour to the Arctic region of Sweden and Finland to celebrate ‘Midsommar’ in June 2018. Simon would have been 30 and the trip would mark the 35th anniversary of his Dad’s Arctic trip by BMW flat-twin motorcycle in 1983.
Thanks to Simon’s colleagues, family and friends – the trip will take place, but now in Simon’s honour.  C.A.R- Caddy’s Arctic Ride, a group of 5 experienced riders, will leave Harwich on June 15th 2018 and head north through Holland, Germany into Denmark. From the Danish coast, the group will cross by ferry into Southern Sweden – and ride up inside the Arctic Circle for June 21st: Midsommar.
The group will turn east from the north of Sweden into Finland and wind its way through stunning Finnish lakelands into Helsinki, from where a night-time ferry crossing, in broad daylight, will take them to Stockholm. After a day or two with Swedish TV, media and friends C.A.R. will ride the Baltic coast to Malmo and the famous Oresund Bridge to Copenhagen. The group will then be taking a scenic route through Germany and Holland before returning to Hoek van Holland and arrival back in England on the 1st of July.
During the journey they will wear our Tourmax Marathon helmets and Caberg is proud to be part of this incredible experience in honor of Simon Caddy.
Here the words about us in C.A.R official webiste:

“Simon was famous for researching facts and expert opinion on just about everything he ever purchased or used in his professional and home lives. When it came to bike ‘lids’; Si knew… His original Caberg is at home with Adrian, Si’s father, who took Simon’s advice and bought a Caberg Duke in 2015 to replace his BMW helmet. As the two-brothers and Dad Arctic bike ride became C.A.R., Caberg were with us, all the way. The team is every bit as great as the lids themselves”.
