Highs and lows for Christian Gamarino during the third round of the CIV Superbike at Imola. The #Cabergrider has adapted well to the Superbike category and in race 1 he scored eighth place. In the second race he unfortunately suffered a crash while he was fighting for the fifth position.
The five-time Italian champion Massimo Roccoli consolidates his place as a frontrunner in the CIV Supersport, scoring a third and a second-place finish in the two Imola races, after having battled for the win right to the final turn. In the championship standings Roccoli lies fourth with 83 points.
The Italian Moto3 series is one of the most competitive international class and the race once again has proved to be extremely hard-fought at Imola. The young #Cabergrider Raffaele Fusco, despite giving it his all, was unable to reach the podium. He closed in sixth place on Saturday while on Sunday he crossed the line in ninth place. In the championship standings Fusco is currently fifth with 70 points.
In the Supersport 300 the two Caberg youngsters Luca Bernardi and Francesco Pastore did their very best but were not rewarded with the results. In the two Imola races Bernardi finished seventh and ninth, while Pastore fourteenth on Saturday and crashed out during the following day’s race.
The next round of CIV- Campionato Italiano Velocità will be held the weekend of 28-29th July at the Misano World Circuit.
