Ever since I was a child, I used to look at a rotating globe; a quick toss waiting to find out the location under my index finger and then traveling with my imagination.\u00a0 Growing up instead, I actually began aiming to go in that exact places I used to imagine. At the beginning, I usually traveled by bus, airplane, and train, but never on a motorcycle. \nEvery time we used to come back home, our friends were thrilled and eager to see the pictures we took and hear our stories and impressions, therefore, at that point we decided to open a Facebook page and an Instagram account.\u00a0 Our intention was to share and tell about our adventures, journeys, and let people get to know amazing places even If they had never been there and start picturing themselves there; that is when \u201cLa Moto, la Meta\u201d was born.
\nWe usually make our tours during spare time and summer holidays, or every time we get the chance to leave either for a short weekend tour or for a journey that could last few months. Actually, we will be doing our longest tour this year, covering approximately 20 thousand km. The 1st of June, we will leave from Gorizia heading to Saint Petersburg for a 3-day stay visiting the city. Then it will come the turn of Moscow for another short stay and after that, we will continue down south towards Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, and Bulgaria. As we go along, we will then decide which country and route we will take to go back to Italy around the 31st of July. The main purpose of this journey is to travel part of the famous Tran-Siberian route in Russia, as well as the equally famous Pamir Highway through Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and reach at the end the \u201cDoor to Hell\u201d in Turkmenistan. We will discover the rest along the way\u2026.
