Discover how to choose the right adventure helmet for touring, off-road riding and Enduro or Maxi Enduro motorcycles. From the main features to consider to Caberg solutions TANAMI, TANAMI Carbon and TOURMAX X

Choosing an adventure helmet means looking for a model that can adapt to different riding conditions: from everyday road use to dirt tracks and even the most demanding adventures
Riders of Enduro, Maxi Enduro and adventure touring motorcycles need a helmet that combines protection, comfort, ventilation, and versatility. It is not simply a matter of choosing a model with a more “off-road” look, but rather finding a solution designed to support the rider when the route changes and asphalt gives way to dust and gravel.
Caberg offers two solutions for adventure riders:
An adventure helmet is designed to meet the needs of riders who do not experience motorcycling in just one way. On the road, it must provide stability, comfort, and excellent visibility. Off-road, it must ensure ventilation, practicality, and configuration flexibility. During long journeys, it should remain comfortable even after many consecutive hours of use.
For this reason, when choosing an adventure helmet, it is important to evaluate some key aspects:

TANAMI and TOURMAX X interpret this concept in two different ways: TANAMI as a full-face on-off road helmet, TOURMAX X as a flip-up adventure helmet.
Caberg’s on-off road full-face helmet TANAMI is built for motorcyclists who enjoy tackling every type of terrain. Built in two shell sizes, small for sizes XS to M and large for sizes L to XXL, it is engineered to provide comfort and safety both on the road and off-road.

One of its most interesting features is its ability to adapt quickly to changing riding conditions. The ventilation system, equipped with magnetically attached covers, makes it easy to switch easily between on-road and off-road configurations, increasing airflow whenever the route or temperature requires it.
TANAMI can be used with or without its peak, just like a traditional full-face helmet. It is also compatible with the motocross mask, both with the visor installed and raised, or with the visor completely removed. This versatility makes it particularly suitable for riders who frequently alternate between asphalt and dirt roads.
Standard equipment includes:
Thanks to NFC technology, Caberg SOS Medical ID allows helmet owners to store personal details, medical information, and contact numbers directly through their smartphone. In the event of an accident or medical emergency, a first responder can simply place a smartphone near the Caberg SOS Medical ID logo on the helmet to access useful information and send an SMS with the rider’s location to emergency contacts.
For riders seeking an even lighter adventure helmet, TANAMI is also available in the Carbon version.
The model maintains the same on-off road character as the fiberglass TANAMI, but it features a lightweight yet resistant carbon-fibre shell.

TANAMI Carbon retains all the technical solutions developed for adventure riding: dual shell sizes, Pinlock Max Vision 70 lens included as standard, integrated sun visor, removable and washable interior, Caberg SOS Medical ID system, and aluminium double D-ring buckle.
It is the ideal choice for those looking for a technical, lightweight, and versatile full-face adventure helmet capable of performing both on the road and on off-road trails.
Alongside TANAMI, Caberg offers TOURMAX X, the first adventure flip-up helmet on the market, created specifically for Enduro and Maxi Enduro motorcycle owners
TOURMAX X is the result of Caberg’s extensive experience in the modular helmet segment. This helmet introduces a configuration tailored to riders seeking the practicality of a flip-up helmet without sacrificing an adventure-oriented design. Its dual P/J homologation allows the helmet to be used with the chin guard either closed or open, always in compliance with ECE 22.06 regulations.

The peak is one of the model’s distinguishing features. When the chin guard is opened, the peak automatically moves closer to the visor, reducing air resistance. In addition, the package includes the screws required to use TOURMAX X without the peak, transforming it into a more traditional flip-up helmet.
TOURMAX X also features the Double Visor Tech system with integrated sun visor, an anti-scratch outer visor with Pinlock anti-fog lens, and preparation for the Caberg PRO SPEAK EVO communication system.
The choice between an adventure full-face helmet and a flip-up mainly depends on the type of use.
Riders looking for an on-off road solution, created to alternate between asphalt and dirt tracks, may find TANAMI and TANAMI Carbon to be two complete and versatile options.
For touring, long-distance travel and Maxi Enduro use, TOURMAX X is the ideal choice for those who prefer the practicality of a modular adventure helmet.
Both models are designed to adapt to different riding scenarios, offering an excellent balance of protection, comfort, and functionality.
From paved roads to dusty trails, from long-distance touring to weekend adventures, Caberg offers solutions for riders looking for an adventure helmet ready to accompany every new experience.
