In China by motorbike: a journey through culture and motorcycling passion

From their participation in the 5th Junyun Motorcycle Festival (14-16 March) to the Moganshan Motorcycle Carnival (18-20 April), Emilio and Cristina travelled through eight regions of China, covering over 6,000 kilometres in 45 days.

On the occasion of the Year of the Snake, these two festivals gave Chinese motorcyclists (and foreign guests) the unique opportunity to ride along roads normally off-limits to private traffic, reaching landmarks of local history and culture.

A privilege reserved for a select few, which Emilio and Cristina were able to experience first-hand, sharing the road with Chinese bikers and discovering the many facets of this incredible country.

Beyond the stunning landscapes, traveling across China by motorbike gave Emilio and Cristina the chance to meet a wealth of new people: from local riders eager to share their stories, to curious residents interested in those traveling from the other side of the world. Crossing such different regions allowed them to discover age-old customs and traditions, taste new flavours and collect stories to bring back home.
