A “crazy project” to bring humanitarian aid to Burkina Faso: Caberg will accompany Antonio and Francesca!

It’s called #PROGETTOFOLLE03, and probably, a pinch of craziness must have  driven these guys to embark on such an adventure with their bikes traveling  for 22 days through the African wild lands, but certainly it’s not crazy at all the pure motivation of the journey; in fact, they will provide assistance and bring founds to a local school in Burkina Faso. The main characters of this adventure are 4 people, a Land Rover, 2 motorcycles, and last but not least our helmets Tourmax Marathon, that, thanks to the dual homologation and the 5 stars SHARP, guarantee the best comfort and safety under all weather conditions.

Antonio Cinotti and his team will departure in January 2018. The group will start from Tangier, Morocco,  with their Land Rover and 2 motorcycles. A 22-day journey passing by Dakar, a legendary destination for any bikers, and concluding in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. Here the two motorcycles will be sold in order to finance the activities for a local children professional training school, while the Land Rover will be given to the school to replace the previous vehicle. Moreover, during this incredible trip, humanitarian aid & equipment will be given also to locals in Mali and Burkina Faso.

The project is supported by the non-profit organization “Bambini nel Deserto”  (Children in the Desert) that manages and implements many charity projects in the Sub-Saharan countries. An active partner of this organization, is the BnD Biker Team, a group of passionate motorcyclists involved to support and implement  as many charity projects as possible in the fields of healthcare, training, economic development, as well as scouting for new initiatives.  Therefore, not by case, the purpose of this trip is also to finance a project called “Garage Italia”, a school that provides free training for young bike mechanics in one of the most disadvantaged district of Ouagadougou, capital of Burkina Faso. Furthermore, the school will provide the kids with training in basic literacy, numeracy  and a grounding in information technology.

Caberg with the flip up Tourmax Marathon, is proud and enthusiastic to support such an incredible initiative on two wheels,  during which , the main aim and satisfaction is being able to help young kids while experiencing other cultures and unique environments impossible to forget. These kids will also receive some helmets in order to be able to familiarize and start attempting to disassemble the components.
