In 2019, Luca debuted in the CIV PreMoto 3, being able to dominate the championship with 6 victories, 11 podiums, and 5 pole positions, and conquering the Italian Title that enabled him to be included among the National talents by the Italian Motorcycling federation.

In 2020, he disputed two races in the CIV Moto3 and he was selected as one of the two Italian riders able to participate in the red Bull Rookies Cup, that is a trophy dedicated to young talents who are about to access different categories of the World championships. Although the many difficulties caused by the pandemic, Lunetta managed to stand out and be reconfirmed for season 2021. This year, besides the Red Bull Rookies Cup, he will compete in the FIM CEV Moto3 junior World Championship with the AC Racing Team, the same team that supported Luca when he won the PreMoto3 title in 2019.

All the prerequisites are in place for a great season, even if the “mundialito” is certainly one of the most difficult championship in the world, but Lunetta is well aware that is important to take this path in order to gain important and international experiences.

“I very happy to continue the collaboration with the AC Racing Team”- Luca has declared- This year we will debut in a very important championship and I am pretty sure that both my team and I will be able to achieve great things.  I will give my best in every race in order to reach my targets, that’s is improving round after round in order to conquer the first positions. Being able to compete also in the Rookies Cup this season, I will be able to grow professionally and gain more experience, so I am looking forward to start.”

Luca chose the Caberg Drift Evo as his safety companion. “I am very happy to be joining the Caberg racing group -Luca said- I have had already the chance to try the Drift Evo, that besides being very nice it’s also very comfortable and performing. It is clear that is the fruit of many tests done by various talented and expert riders on the racetracks around the world.  I am aware that Caberg have a lot of confidence in me and together will be able to reach important targets.“
